UtahimeHK

Artist - Illustrator - Animator - Musician - Visionary

Himura Kasumi (or better known as UtahimeHK) is a young mexican artist that studies Design of Digital Animation in UNEA College. She has been drawing since she can remember, but started taking it seriously when she was 10 years old.

With perseverance, hard work and dedication, she's been archiving whatever she has put work on. She’s a person with initiative, leadership skills, ability to work under pressure, fast learning over topics (no matter if they’re in her area or not) and accepts criticism.

Her works are usually about surrealistic mythological and macabre worlds made by her, taking principal and actual attention on her original characters (including their appearance, personalities and psychological development). Her art style have a big influence by Junji Ito, Kouta Hirano, Yana Toboso, Shinichi Sakamoto and most recently Ai Yazawa's artwork.

Her dream is creating her own animations and professional comics with her favorite theme: Horror and Gore. Specializes in human anatomy, malformations, character design, clothes design, faces, shading and plants. Actually working on a couple of comics, creating a video game company and in the learning of new musical and technical skills in cinematography to develop her actual skills.
